What thermostat settings are recommended to conserve energy?

What actions should be taken if moisture or discoloration is observed in the home?
Step 1: Report it immediately to the leasing office or maintenance team. - Submit a service request through your resident portal or contact the office directly. - Include the exact location (room, wall, ceiling, etc.) and attach photos if possible. Step 2: Do not attempt to clean or cover the area until maintenance has inspected it. Step 3: Move personal items or furniture away from the affected area to prevent damage. Step 4: Ventilate the space by turning on fans or opening windows (if weather permits). Step 5: If you notice active leaks, standing water, or musty odors, treat it as urgent and contact the office or after-hours emergency line right away.
What methods help reduce moisture or discoloration in the home?
1.Use exhaust fans when cooking, showering, or doing laundry — and leave them running for at least 15–20 minutes afterward. 2.Open windows periodically (when weather allows) to improve airflow and reduce humidity. 3.Keep air vents open and unblocked to allow proper air circulation from your HVAC system. 4. Set your thermostat fan to “Auto” (not “On”) to prevent excess moisture in the air. 5.Maintain indoor humidity between 30–50% if possible — a small dehumidifier can help in humid areas. 5.Wipe up spills and condensation immediately, especially around windows, sinks, tubs, and toilets. 6.Avoid drying clothes indoors without proper ventilation. 7.Do not overpack closets or block vents, as restricted airflow can trap humidity and cause discoloration on walls or ceilings. 8.Change air filters monthly during high-use seasons — this keeps air flowing and helps the HVAC remove moisture effectively. 9.Report leaks or moisture right away so maintenance can inspect and address the cause before damage occurs.
